Reaching a World Beyond
“Man can say no to many things. However, living in oneness with God above is not something that a person should decline. It is salvation, a permanent refuge they are turning down.”
– A passport to god, R. Holmberg
The way we obtain the truth about the world around us is the key to our development here-and-now and sets the stage for the next steps beyond. No one needs to fear the final outcome of this life unless they simply refrained from examining themselves in a way that shows God that their good side is little more than a reflection without an image.
Personal experience guides us all. How much guidance comes from within? Asked another way, does a higher power facilitate guidance when we dream, during waking hours, or during meditative states? Will guidance from this power beckon angels or spirits to help us reach beyond our state of mind or physical world we live in?
From my perspective, personal growth and first-hand experience is a prerequisite for us to know the answers to these questions with absolute certainty. The words of truth come from deep within and not from the intellect nor the mind groping for facts to support our reasoning. It is the inner-self counseling and the voice of reason with guidance from above that allows each of us to explore the nature of our being and the joyful connection to the world around us, including the one invisible to the naked eye.
Words spoken to each other are often misinterpreted, for the true meaning may be hidden behind the words. Know that words of truth never lie. They don’t deceive. These words are gifts from above and can be found by listening to the voice that speaks to us as we are in the dream state.
The arts are another way for us to participate or observe communication from beyond. However, our mind often gets in the way. It is important to know that observation is not just listening. It is a feeling, a deep emotional response that sets in play the communication and a relationship between the underlying event and the entities beyond us.
When we reach beyond we can channel new and unusual ideas through automatic writing and drawing. The works are performed unconsciously or involuntarily; and may be formed as poetry, plays, books, technical and non-technical notes, letters, paintings, and music. Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso were two of the many celebrated artists who used automatism to create masterpieces during the Surrealism Period.
There are times when we experience things out of the blue that trigger our senses. We may smell a beautiful fragrance when in fact there is nothing in the vicinity that emits such a fragrance. Others times, we may feel, see, or hear a being nearby when no such person, animal, or entity is actually physically present.
Other states of mind and body arise that allow us to establish a connection to the world beyond when we are not fully awake. They include meditative, hypnagogic, hypnopompic, exhaustion, fear, and death-like. It is in these states that moments of heightened awareness occur that may be retained when we become fully cognitive; and then we can engage, resolve questions, capture new ideas, and develop ourselves in positive ways. During transition to the awake state, we may forget the interactions unless we have an active mechanism for remembering the experiences. Retaining the knowledge that is transferred while in these states is a powerful tool for preparing us for the future. It is entirely up to each of us whether we retain this information in the cognitive state. But it takes work.
Sometimes we sense things that are beyond the shadows of the world. They may make us uneasy or haunt us. Other times we sense a peacefulness that can only arise from the East where man was created. When we explore regions which surround us, it is imperative that we understand there may be claims or promises that are absolutely false. It may be the mind creating disturbances, or they may originate from dangerous entities that wish to claim us as a brother or sister.
Please know spirit entities do exist and anytime you feel uncomfortable, or they sway you in a way contrary to the Bible, you have met and found the region of the world beyond that is not healthy. The best option is to stand down, and say to yourself, “This is not right and not the truth,” then pray to the Lord and ask for assistance. The Lord and his angels will surely oversee and protect you. When you do find a region where you hear, see, or experience something that favors the words spoken by Christ, you will know you have embarked on a journey that is free from mythical beings, from false gods, or phonies who pry their way into the soul sounding like your best friend. So be aware and consider living with the Bible. Know that the most important part of living with the Bible is the promise you make to him – to be loving, kind and a true believer in him. This does not include destroying other people’s relation with him, even if they do not conform to customs set by society or religious institutions.
When you experience something unusual, no matter how brief or seemingly inconsequential at the time, I recommend that you journal this experience. Note the date, time, setting and record the sensation. There is no need to interpret these unless you feel strongly compelled to do so. Over time, you may see a pattern emerge. This is key when seeking guidance from beyond. It is also a good way to develop intuitiveness and to establish which sensory or extrasensory mechanism works best for you.
This website explores the notion of togetherness as being unity with the mind, soul, body, and God above. The writings on the website are based on my personal experiences. The experiences have given me clarity on answers to confliction, spiritual guidance, and a direction that leads me to fulfillment and a genuine happy state. My findings and experiences may prove as helpful tools during your exploration. I ask that you share your dreams and experiences by uploading them in the “Share” section. Please know that it is not up to me or anyone else to convince you of anything. It is up to you to explore and decide what you believe with absoluteness.
Peace be with you,
Richard A. Holmberg
